Kalpesh Patel, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Nuclear Medicine. He specializes in invasive cardiovascular procedures inculding: cardiac stenting, rotational arthrectomy, intraaortic balloon pump placements, impella placements, and stenting of the arteries of the legs.
Dr. Patel attended the University of Toledo School of Medicine, where he graduated within the top 15% of his class. Following his internship in Internal Medicine, Dr. Patel went on to complete his training in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the Virginia Commonwealth University.
He maintains his privileges at Southside Regional Medical Center, Chippenham Medical Center, John Randolph Medical Center, St. Francis Medical Center, and Southhampton Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Patel was born in Toronto, Canada, but has called Virginia his home for the past 7 years. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children, traveling, and playing sports.
