Mark Xenakis, M.D.

Dr Mark Xenakis is a dedicated physician with over two decades of experience in the Richmond area.
Dr. Xenakis brings an amazing background to our team. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University in 1992, then earned his MD from SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn in 1996. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta (1996-1999), followed by a General Cardiology fellowship (1999-2002) and an Interventional Cardiology fellowship (2002-2003) at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
With his engineering know-how and over 20 years of cardiology experience, Dr. Xenakis is ready to team up with us to provide top-notch care. He’s passionate about helping patients and will be a fantastic addition to our team!
