Peyton Thompson, PA-C
Peyton Thompson PA-C earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology at James Madison University in 2018. After graduating, she volunteered with a local rescue squad as an EMT and worked in the emergency room as an ER technician. She became a PA in 2023 when she graduated from South University with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Before joining James River Cardiology, Peyton worked as a hospitalist in Richmond. She enjoyed expanding her knowledge in this role and learning about many different disease processes. She found that she was passionate about cardiology and decided to move into this specialty.
Outside of work, Peyton enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and 3 cats. She loves to read, travel, and get outside.
